Lisha Engineers bags Rs 78 crore contract for Pink Line Extn of Delhi Metro Phase 4

New Delhi, India (Urban Transport News): The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (DMRC) on June 1, 2021, opened the financial bids of civil contract package DC-11 of Delhi Metro Phase 4 Project. According to the financial result shared by DMRC, Lisha Engineers Pvt. Ltd. emerged as the lowest bidders among the other two contractors. Here is the financial position of each bidder:-

• Lisha Engineers Pvt. Ltd.: Rs 78.65 Crores (L1)
• KMU-PFPL-GH Joint Venture: Rs 86.30 Crores (L2)
• URC Construction Pvt Ltd: Rs 93.92 Crores (L3)

The scope of work includes Architectural Finishing Works including Design, Fabrication, Supply, Erection & Roof sheeting of Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) Structures and Design & Construction of External facade, Water Supply, Sanitary Installation, Drainage, Site development works at Eight (08) Elevated stations namely Yamuna Vihar, Bhajanpura, Khajuri Khas, Sonia Vihar, Soorghat, Jagatpur Village, Jharoda Majraa and Burari of Maujpur-Majlis Park –Corridor (line-7 Extension) of Delhi Metro Rail Project, Phase-IV.

Tender notice for the aforesaid works was invited in January this year and technical bids were opened in February where three bidders were revealed. As per DMRC, the estimated contract value for this work was Rs 86.23 crores where Lisha Engineers has quoted below rates than the estimate.

The construction work of this section is being carried out by Longjian – KEC International JV under Civil Contract Package DC-02. Once LOA issued, Lisha Engineers have to complete the finishing part of this contract in 24 months.

Earlier in October 2020, Lisha Engineers had bagged a contract worth Rs 112.63 crores from Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (UPMRC) for Civil, PEB and E&M works for construction of Depot cum workshop, including O&M quarters & structural, architectural, plumbing, external development, VAC, firefighting, etc. at PAC Land Depot for corridor-1 of Agra Metro Rail Project.

Lisha Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is a Delhi-based construction firm involved in Fabrication, Erections & Roof Sheeting and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) Structures works.

The 12.5 km Pink Line Extension Line will expand as a branch line of Majlis Park - Shiv Vihar Metro Corridor (Line 7) from Majlis Park to Maujpur with 8 stations at Burari Crossing, Jagatpur Village, Surghat, Khajuri Khas, Bhajanpura, Yamuna Vihar and Maujpur.
