Dr. Richa Chowdhary is an Associate Professor (Social Work Department) in Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College (BRAC), University of Delhi and having academic & research experience over 23 years in various fields of study including medical and psychiatric social work.

She started her career with the University of Delhi as a Research Officer in July 1995. She has examined over 30 Ph.D. thesis and guided research scholars from various universities. She has also presented over 50 papers in various national as well as international seminars and conferences.

She has published over 15 national and 7 international journals. She has written more than 7 books on psychology, social work methods, and NGO Management topics. In addition of this, she has written more than 20 chapters for study/course material for the various universities including distance education.
