New Delhi (Urban Transport News): The Institute of Urban Transport, a professional body under the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India and Urban Transport News signed a Memorandum of Undertaking (MoU) in New Delhi today. The main aim of the MoU is to promote all modes (both rail-based and road-based) of public transport through the Urban Mobility India Conference & Expo, which is being organized for 11 years by the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs each year.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Sumit Chatterjee, Officiating Executive Secretary of Institute of Urban Transport (IUT), New Delhi and Mr. Vinod Shah, Head-Marketing & Communications for Urban Transport News, New Delhi to cooperate in order to strengthen the conference by mean of publicity at the various platforms.
The 12th edition of
Urban Mobility India Conference & Expo is scheduled on November 15-17, 2019 at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow, India with the theme "Accessible and Livable Cities".
The main objective of the Urban Mobility India Expo is to disseminate information to the cities, whose officials attend the conference, and to help them keep up-to-date with the best urban transport practices.
The three-day conference provides the best platform to interact with other professionals, technology and service providers both domestic and international so that the participants can learn the ideas to develop their urban transport along a sustainable path.
