According to sources, the existing Delhi Metro smart cards will continue to stay valid, but any new card or replacement will be through ‘ONE’ card. The cards are being prepared specially for bus stands. There is also a plan to provide the common mobility card to the people at Inter-state bust terminals, including Kashmiri Gate, Sarai Kale Khan, Anand Vihar. This is an important project for the Delhi Transport Department and Delhi Metro because the Government wants to promote public transport system and in that direction, this card will reduce the problem of people to a great extent. This is another good effort to make hassle-free public travel in buses so that people can avoid the buying tickets by cash payment. This uses of common mobility card 'One' is planned in line with public transport in foreign countries and this facility is being extended to Delhi.
