The Haryana Government has proposed a 121.74 km long Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor to connect all districts of the state through better and sustainable rail connectivity.

Haryana Orbit Rail Network Information

• Corridor Name: Palwal - Sonepat Orbit Rail Corridor
• Proposed Stations: New Palwal, Silani, Sohna, Dhulawat, Chandla Dungerwas, Manesar, New Patli, Badsa, Deverkhana, Badli, Mandothi, Jasaur Kheri, Kharkhoda, Tarakpur, and Harsana Kalan

Infrastructure

The corridor will have 17 stations including 14 new stations and three existing stations, 23 major waterway bridges, 195 minor waterway bridges, three rail flyovers, two road-over bridges, and 153 road-under bridge.

Current Progress

• February 2019: Aarvee Associate had completed the feasibility study of the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor project.
• July 1, 2019: The board of directors of Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (HRIDC) has approved the detailed project report (DPR) of the project.
