New Delhi, India (Urban Transport News): Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) opened the financial bids of Rs 144.65 crore third electrification contract package (PE-03) of Patna Metro Rail Project on Janauary 5, 2022. According to the bid result, KEC International Limited emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) among other two bidders for providing 25KV Overhead Equipment system for the project.
Tender notice for the contract package PE-03 was invited in July 2021 with work completion period of 36 months. Technial bids were opened in November 2021 and a total of four bidders had submitted their bids. Financial positions of each bidder is as under:
The scope of work includes SITC of 25KV Overhead Equipment (OHE) System, Switching Posts, 33KV Ring mains, Auxiliary Sub stations for Elevated Sections and SCADA System for Underground and Elevated sections for Corridor 1 and 2 and ISBT Depot of Patna Metro Rail Project.
This is the third electrification contract of Patna Metro Rail Project Phase 1.
First contract package PE-01 worth Rs 92.22 crore has been awarded to KEC International Ltd for Design & Commissioning of Receiving cum Traction (RSS + TSS) and Auxiliary Main Substation (ASS) including High Voltage Cabling from Grid Substation. The Letter of Acceptace (LoA) has been issued on October 12, 2021.
The second contract package PE-02 worth Rs 82.65 crore has been awarded to Tuaman Engineering Ltd. for Design & commissioning of Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) systems, Fire detection, Fire suppression system and DG sets of Corridor-1 and Corridor-2 Elevated stations and Depot. The Letter of Acceptace (LoA) has been issued on October 13, 2021.
