Lucknow, India (Urban Transport News): The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (UPMRC) today unveiled the names of three construction firms who have submitted their bids to construct the first 4-km stretch between Taj East Gate and Taj Mahal Ramp of Agra Metro Rail project under the Contract Package AGCC-01.
UPMRC today opened the technical bids of Contract Package AGCC-01 to built three elevated metro stations including viaducts. The following three bidders have submitted their bids in the tendering process:-
The tender was invited in August 2020 with an estimated cost of work Rs 290 crore. The scope of work includes the construction of an elevated viaduct and 3 nos. elevated metro stations (viz. Taj East Gate, Basai & Fatehabad Road) including civil, architectural finished, water supply, fire fighting, fire detection, E&M works, and PEB structures on Priority Corridor-1 of Agra Metro Rail project.
After the technical evaluation of bids, UPMRCL will open the financial bids and the lowest bidders will be awarded the contract to complete the work in 26 months. This contract package is part of 14.25 km long proposed Corridor-1 of the Agra Metro project.
The 14.25 km corridor-1 of Agra Metro will connect Sikandra to Taj East Gate through 14 stations. The proposed PAC depot will serve the trains for this corridor.
