New Delhi, India (Urban Transport News): The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) invited online bids for the supply of Track Fastening Systems for the Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor.

Eligibility Criteria

The bidders who possess the following qualifications can participate in this bidding process:

• The Bidder must have a minimum average annual turnover of supply contracts of Rs 1,714 million in the last five years.
• The Bidder must have completed the supply of 6,00,000 sets of fastening systems for Ballastless Track as the main supplier in the last 5 years.
• The bidder must have supplied 300-1 Direct / Fastclip baseplate indirect fastening system which must be in operation for at least 3 years for a cumulative track length of 80km (or 2,70,000 sets) in not more than 3 projects with a design speed of 180 kmph or more, installed over pre-cast rail seat type track structure. Out of which, at least 25% of supply shall be installed on Pre-cast slab type track over elevated viaduct or bridges. Fastenings claimed should have been supplied in at least three different countries.
• The Bidder shall demonstrate the availability of or access to liquid assets, lines of credit, and other finances sufficient to meet cash flow requirement which is Rs 286 million or Equivalent.

The final bidder will be selected through an open international competitive bidding procedure and this tender is open to all Bidders from eligible countries.
