“Train 18 has clocked 180 kmph speed during the trials today. While many trials are still left, this is a milestone for Train 18. The data is yet to be analysed, but I can confirm that Train 18 achieved the 180 kmph speed today,” said Sudhanshu Mani, General Manager, ICF Chennai on Sunday.This is a train is manufactured in Chennai's Integral Coach Factory (ICF), which will not need any engine to run. The first coach, which has a driving system, also has 44 seats. The train is fully computerized. It has been specially designed on the model of the bullet train. About 100 crore rupees have been spent on the manufacturing of the train 18, which has been prepared in 18 months time.
