NIAL invites bid for development of Jewar International Airport

Noida (Urban Transport News): Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) invites international competitive bids from the eligible contractors for the ‘Development of Jewar International Airport or Greenfield Noida International Airport.’

Project Cost:

The project cost of the entire project would be Rs.15,754 crores. The first phase development of Jewar International Airport would cost Rs 4,086.54 crore. The project cost includes;

• Rs 2,848.35 crore for compensation over acquisition of private land,
• Rs 894.53 crore for resettlement and rehabilitation of families displaced due to the projects,
• Rs 318.66 crore as additional compensation and cost of assets, and
• Rs 25 crore in administrative expenses.

Project Target

Development work of the Airport is likely to commence early in 2020 and the first phase expected to be completed by 2023.

• Total bid processing fee: INR 2,00,000 plus GST if the Bidder is an Indian entity, or USD 2,875 plus applicable taxes if the Bidder is a foreign entity, is to be paid by way of RTGS for initial bid processing fee.

The scanned copy of RTGS (for both initial and balance bid processing fee) with respective transaction IDs certified by the bank must be enclosed along with the e-Bid submission.

How to purchase Bid Documents

The Bid documents are uploaded on the website. The bid documents are password protected. Upon making the payment of Rs 200,000 plus GST or USD 2,875 plus applicable taxes, the bidder needs to send the proof of RTGS payment to the Nodal Officer NIAL via e-mail to skbhatiapcs@gmail.com. Post verification of payment, the Nodal Officer NIAL shall provide the password to the bidder through email.
