New Delhi, India (Urban Transport News): The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has isssued globally tender for conducting Environmental Impact Assessment study for the proposed 435-km long Chennai-Mysore High Speed Rail Corridor.
Carrying out Environmental Impact Assessment Study / Field Work and Preparation of Environment Impact Assessment Report & Environment Management Plan for Chennai-Mysore High Speed Rail Corridor.
The Chennai-Mysuru High Speed Rail Corridor will connect Chennai to Mysuru via Bengaluru with 9 stations at Chennai, Poonamallee, Arokkonam, Chittoor, Bangarapet, Bangaluru, Chennapatna, Mandya and Mysuru.
Once the the Bullet Train made operational, the travel time will 150km distance from Bengaluru to Mysore will be 30 minutes, while the 360km distance between Bengaluru and Chennai will be covered in 60 minutes.
